Prime Minister Narendra Modi said a big push is being given to Artificial Intelligence, quantum tech, and semi-conductors to position India as a global leader in futuristic technologies. NDTV's Uma Sudhir spoke with Kalyan Muppaneni, the chairperson-CEO of Pi Datacenters that has set up datacenters in tier 2 cities like Kochi and Vijayawada, and has opened a Rs 100-crore AI Cloud vertical in Hyderabad. Mr Muppaneni explains why India is best poised to take a leadership role on the global stage.
