Union Minister G Kishan Reddy addressed the AI India Summit, calling it the first time such a large-scale artificial intelligence event is being hosted in the country. He said the summit would serve as a stepping stone for Indian youth to dominate the global AI sector and contribute to building a Viksit Bharat. Reddy described the event as a major success for India’s global image and said artificial intelligence would support development across every sector. Responding to Opposition criticism over alleged mismanagement and use of Chinese products, he termed the remarks “foolish” and “rubbish,” urging that the summit should not be viewed negatively.
