The Ahmedabad fire department's entire resources from 19 stations, its 360 officers for deployed for the operations to douse the blaze that broke out after the crashed Air India plane and salvage operations are still underway. Ahmedabad Chief Fire Officer Amit Dongre said that fire brigade teams managed to save 30 people who were injured on ground. "Our teams saved 30 lives. 360 officers were deployed to control the fire which was caused after the incident. The fire was drastic," he said.
