After MP and Rajasthan, Uttarakhand Bans Coldrif Cough Syrup
After the deaths of several children linked to contaminated cough syrup in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Uttarakhand has now banned the sale of Coldrif syrup. The state’s FDA issued the order following a Union Health Ministry directive to strictly enforce pharmaceutical manufacturing norms. The Centre has warned that licenses of noncompliant drug units will be canceled.
