Actor Aamir Khan and his wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao have big hopes for the recently concluded Mumbai film festival's future. The 16th edition of the film festival was organised by Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI). The actor said, "MAMI should become so popular that filmmakers from around the world would want to be a part of it." He also said, "The film industry should once again come forward to support the festival. Start the work earlier this time." Adding to that Kiran said, "Make a roadmap. We have to plan its future and look at it 5-10 years in advance. We can't expect the filmmakers to always shell out the money, so we need a comprehensive vision."
