The Supreme Court's five-judge bench didn't give us a unanimous judgement - they gave us a 4:1 judgement on Aadhaar. Which means one judge, Justice DY Chandrachud, disagreed with the majority judges led by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra when they upheld the constitutional validity of the Aadhaar card. The government says it's a victory for them, the opposition points out that relevant portions of the Act have been struck off. So who's really won? And what about us as citizens, and those who are in villages and need Aadhaar to claim subsidies. Have they won? Are their fundamental rights of privacy and life protected? We discuss all this and more on Reality Check.
