Six people have died in a stampede at the Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar. The stampede occurred on the staircase leading to the temple. Garhwal Division Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey confirmed the incident to news agency ANI and said he is on his way to the temple. Visuals showed injured devotees being taken to the hospital in ambulances and several others undergoing treatment.
