15 mothers dead, babies now at risk
The newborn babies at Umaid Hospital in Jodhpur, where 12 babies have lost their mother, are now at serious risk because infant mortality rate in Rajasthan is higher than in other states. With 63 deaths per thousand live births, being alive will be a challenge for these infants.
