'1 Crore Tamil Nadu Voters May Turn Living Dead': Kamal Haasan Raises SIR Alarm
Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan on Wednesday criticised the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the Rajya Sabha, warning that nearly one crore voters in Tamil Nadu could be disenfranchised. Citing Bihar as an example, he alleged that the Election Commission was enabling the creation of "living dead" voters.
