SAIL Q4 Results: Steel Authority of India (SAIL) reported a jump of 31 per cent in net profit to Rs 3,470 crore on a consolidated basis in the March quarter of fiscal 2021

SAIL, India's largest domestic steel maker, on Monday reported a standalone net loss of Rs 1,230.93 crore for the quarter ended March 30, 2016, hit by challenging market conditions and a decline is sales realisation.

For the entire 2014-15 fiscal, SAIL's net profit fell by 20 per cent to Rs 2,093 crore, from Rs 2,616 crore in 2013-14 fiscal. Its total income for the year declined marginally to Rs 46,695 crore, from Rs 47,513 crore.

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) on Wednesday registered a 1.35 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 452.58 crore for the fourth quarter that ended on March 31, 2014, affected mainly by wage revision provisions and higher expenses.

Sales jumped 21.5 per cent at Rs 14,785 crore in the fiscal fourth quarter against Rs 12,166 crore in the year ago period.
