OpenAI, the San Francisco-based AI firm, is adding support for Anthropic’s open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) across its products. Company CEO Sam Altman announced on Wednesday that the Agents software development kit (SDK) is now offering MCP support, and several other products in the pipeline will soon adopt it as well.

Android TV, Google TV Apps Will Switch From APKs to Android App Bundles From 2023

Google is mandating that all new and updated apps submitted to the Play Store need to be in the newer Android App Bundle (AAB) format instead of the older Android Package Kit (APK) format. While this rule change only affects developers, it does bring plenty of benefits for smart TV users, according to the company.
