Turning the picture of Khewra school

As part of the NDTV Support my School agenda, we visited a school to change the look and the entire studying experience of its children.

The telethon is a 12-hour Live event of the Support My School campaign as part of an initiative to help the schools of India.

Besides basic facilities, the surrounding areas of the school must also be clean and developed to help children suffer in a better environment.

A look at how sanitation facilities were transformed at the school.

Drinking water was a major problem with the school but with the help of the Support my School campaign, the school now enjoys proper water facilities.

"It was a dream earlier, we never thought about these facilities. Now children will attend school regularly and inculcate a school going habit amongst the children. Our girls will feel secure and save", said Ms. Sheela Head Mistress of Khewra School ,Sonepat District, Haryana.
