How the campaign turned a school's fate

Development of schools in several parts of the country is either passed on from one department to another or is buried under the burden of processes required to sanction funds. The NDTV-Coca-Cola Support my School campaign took the initiative to turn the face of a school in Sonepat.

Before: The school had various problems relating to infrastructure and development and the conditions for the students were unbearably tough.

After: The campaign however improved them to help the children study in a healthier environment.

Before: The water facilities were poor, with old and ineffective sources.

After: Proper drinking-water facilities were installed at the school by the campaign.

Rainwater harvesting facilities were also developed at the school to give it a sustainable platform to move ahead.
