Durga Puja The Festival Of Devotion, Food and Fanfare

The five-day long festival of Durga Puja commemorates the story of the lion-riding, 10-armed Goddess Durga's slaying of a demon king, signifying the triumph of good over evil.

Durga Puja also includes the worship of Shiva in addition to Lakshmi, Saraswati with Ganesha and Kartikeya.
