Donald Trump Wishes PM Modi Belated Happy Birthday At "Howdy, Modi!" Event In Houston

US President Donald Trump joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the mega 'Howdy, Modi!' event in Texas, billed by organisers as the largest turnout event for a foreign-elected leader on US soil.

Donald Trump and PM Modi entered the packed NRG stadium in Houston amid cheers and applause. PM Modi arrived in Houston on Saturday, beginning his week-long tour to the US.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of the greatest friends of the United States and is doing a great job with the people of India," US President Donald Trump said on Sunday at the ''Howdy, Modi!'' event.
US President Donald Trump on Sunday greeted ''Happy Birthday'' to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who turned 69 last week. "Everyone here joins me in wishing you a very happy birthday," said President Donald Trump.
President Trump praised PM Modi for doing "exceptional job" in India and said Indians voted "overwhelmingly" for him.

US President Donald Trump announced that India will soon have access to another world class American product - NBA basketball. "And very soon, India will have access to another world class American product- NBA basketball. Wow, sounds good. Next week, thousands of people will gather in Mumbai to watch the first-ever, NBA basketball game in India," President Trump said.
"Am I invited Mr Prime Minister? I may come, be careful, I may come," he said laughingly as Prime Minster Modi laughed.
