Capital chaos: Tweeple on Delhi fog, flight delays

Delhi's residents woke up to yet another chilly morning on Friday with minimum temperature dropping to 4.5 degree Celsius

Poor visibility has thrown air, rail and road traffic completely out of gear.

This is the third day in a row that thick fog has descended on the city.

At least 54 outgoing flights and 18 incoming flights were delayed. Around 30 trains were reported to be running late till noon.

Yesterday too, a thick blanket of fog had delayed nearly 50 flights in the morning at the Delhi airport.

The fog's impact was also felt in cities like Mumbai in Hyderabad. At least 6 morning flights from Mumbai to Delhi were delayed till reports last came in.

Flights were able to take off only after the fog cleared at around 10 am.
