The BJP's demand for a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) probe to determine if the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan had illegally tapped phones of politicians was given prominent space of the front pages of top leading dailies today.

Deccan Chronicle published the story of 88 coronavirus-linked deaths in the state of Tamil Nadu as its lead. Thirty-one deaths were recorded in Chennai only, with 1,219 new cases being detected out of the tests done.
