Big Fat Civic Polls: Maharashtra's who's who cast their votes

The elections for the richest civic body in the country - the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or the BMC - are being held across 10 municipal corporations in Maharashtra today.

BJP President Nitin Gadkari was seen riding a two wheeler through Nagpur after casting his vote.

Mumbai MP Priya Dutt cast her vote at St Anne's School in Bandra.
Filmmaker Rakesh Mehra was also seen casting his vote for the BMC polls at a polling booth in Mumbai.
Poet, filmmaker Gulzar reportedly wasn't allowed to vote because his name was not on the list.

Sacked Commonwealth Games (CWG) Organising Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi and his wife Meira Kalmadi arrived to cast their vote at a polling booth in Pune.
Union Power Minister Sushil Shinde cast his vote at Solapur.
Shiv Sena leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi was also seen casting his vote.
