A blast outside the BJP's office in Bangalore left cars parked there gutted. Officials at the spot, seen in this picture described the explosion as “low-intensity.” -
This picture clicked by an eye-witness shows the fire that started immediately after the blast. -
The police initially said that it appeared like a cylinder blast in one of the cars caused the explosion. However the police commisssioner then described the explosion as “a motorcycle blast”. -
Several cars, like seen in this picture were gutted in the explosion. But fire brigade authorities managed to curb the spread of the fire. -
Karnataka goes to the polls on May 5 and there has been increased security across party offices. Seen in this picture, a policeman inspects a charred car. -
The explosion has injured eight policemen and five civilians, including two teen girls. -
