Southern actress Kajal Agarwal is all set to make a splash in Bollywood romancing Ajay Devgn in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Singam. -
However, this won't be Kajal's B-Town debut, she was earlier seen in 2004's Kyun... Ho Gaya Na, where she played Aishwarya's friend. -
Singam is being remade by Rohit Shetty and will be Kajal's first Bollywood film as lead actress. -
Kajal has made Telugu, Tamil and Kannada movies and hit big time with Chandamama (Telugu) and Saroja (Tamil). -
But her moment in the sun came in 2009 with Telugu film Magadheera, her most successful film so far. -
Kajal began her modeling career while she was in college. -
Her first break came with veteran Tamil director's Bommalattam. However, the film was delayed and released only in late 2008. -
Her first release was Lakshmi Kalyanam, a box office failure. -
Next came Telugu films Pourudu and Aatadista but both failed to impress. -
Her career blew hot and cold until her star making role in the critically acclaimed Magadheeran. -
Kajal received accolades for her portrayal of a princess in Magadheera. The film broke several records. -
Post Magadheera, Kajal has become one of the most sought-after actresses in the Telugu film industry. -
Hope her second stint in Bollywood is also a success.
