The "Holmes" sequel opened in six overseas markets, including the detective's native Britain, and took in $14.7 million to bring its worldwide total to $54.7 million.

According to director guy Ritchie, the sequel is better than the first one.
Guy Ritchie recently said that Jude Law, Noomi Rapace and Robert Downey Jr were required to do a lot of hard work for the action-heavy movie.
