It was a big night for the first family of Bollywood as the Mumbai Short Film Festival kicked off at the iconic Prithvi theatre, home-turf for the family.

Actor-couple Rishi and Neetu Kapoor were amongst the members of the family who lit up the first day.

Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor (Rishi's uncle) broke his ritual of visiting Prithvi on weekends and arrived in spite of keeping a low profile due to his health.

Mr. Kapoor's son Kunal Kapoor was spotted with late actor Shammi Kapoor's wife Neela Devi.

Kunal was accompanied by his wife and son.

Actress Vidya Balan came in a signature look - an Enoya saree and jewels by Arnav. She was accompanied by entrepreneur husband Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Actress Lara Dutta also came with sportsman-husband Mahesh Bhupathi. The stylish couple looked radiant as Lara donned a yellow Sukriti Aakriti ensemble and Mahesh a simple white kurta and jeans.
