  • Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has a lot to look forward to as he turns 31. His last release Dum Laga Ke Haisha received critical as well as commercial success. The actor has collaborated with Shoojit Sircar for Abra Ka Dabra, which is yet to go on the floors. Moreover, he has also written a book titled Cracking The Code, which released this year.

Here's a pictorial look at Ayushmann's journey as he turns a year older.
  • Ayushmann, who was born in Chandigarh on September 14, 1984, came into the limelight when he won the reality show Roadies 2. The actor has also anchored several reality shows and has a melodious voice.
  • Ayushmann made his debut in Bollywood in 2012 when he featured in Shoojit Sircar's film Vicky Donor, opposite Yami Gautam. Based on the concept of sperm donation, Vicky Donor was produced by John Abraham. He also made his singing debut with Paani Da Rang, a song from the same film. Paani Da Rang became an instant hit.
  • After Vicky Donor, Ayushmann featured in Rohan Sippy's film Nautanki Saala! in 2013. The film also featured Kunaal Roy Kapur, Evelyn Sharma, Pooja Salvi and Gaelyn Mendonca. It was inspired by a French romantic comedy Apres Vous.

Ayushmann yet again impressed his audience with his voice as he sung two songs, Saddi Gali and Tu Hi Tu for the film.
  • The same year, Ayushmann also gave vocals for a single, O Heeriye. The music video featured Mere Dad Ki Maruti actress Rhea Chakraborty apart from Ayushmann.
  • In 2014, Ayushmann featured in Nupur Asthana's Bewakoofiyaan, co-starring Sonam Kappor and Rishi Kapoor.
  • Ayushmann also gave vocals for a single titled Mitti Di Khusboo, the music video of which featured Huma Qureshi.
  • However, 2015 did not start on a good note for Ayushmann as Hawaizaada did not quite light up the box office. Co-starring Besharam actress Pallavi Sharda and Mithun Chakraborty, Hawaizaada, was a period film based on Indian scientist Shivkar Talpade, who is credited with building the first unmanned plane.
  • Soon after, Dum Laga Ke Haisha released in which Ayushmann featured opposite newcomer Bhumi Pednekar. The film was a sleeper hit.
  • On the personal front, Ayushmann is married to his childhood friend Tahira. They have two children - Virajveer and Varushka.
  • Apart from Abra Ka Dabra, Ayushmann will reportedly feature in Tigmanshu Dhulia's next film. The actor has also replaced Imran Khan in Ekta Kapoor's Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka. The grapevine suggests that Bhumi will feature opposite Ayushmann in both the projects.

Here's wishing Ayushmann a very happy birthday.
