According to his LinkedIn profile, Ansari worked as a Data Engineer at JP Morgan in Glasgow, Scotland. But his latest Instagram video suggests that he was laid off from his job. Facing a job loss in a foreign country can be overwhelming due to financial pressures and visa dependencies. It appeared that Ansari was worried about how to break the news to his family back home in India. But his father's reaction won hearts online.
In the video, Ansari dialled and told his father about the layoff. In response, his father said, "It is Allah's will. And something better might happen in the future."
Instead of expressing panic, the man's father responded calmly, and his main concern was his son's emotional well-being and mental health.

"I'm sharing this video not for sympathy, but to remind anyone going through a difficult phase that you are NOT alone. Your family is always with you, no matter what," he wrote in the caption.
"Getting laid off is painful. No matter how experienced you are or how hard you've worked, suddenly losing your job can make you question yourself, your career, and your future. But sometimes, one conversation with your parents reminds you of what really matters."
He added that he posted the conversation publicly because "many people are silently going through the same thing". "Layoffs, rejections, failed interviews, uncertainty, financial pressure, or simply wondering, 'What am I going to do next?'"
"If you're one of them, please remember: A layoff is not a reflection of your worth. It's one event in your career, not the end of your career. Don't let one setback make you forget everything you've achieved so far."
