Shah Rukh Khan's Mumbai home, Mannat, is currently undergoing renovation. Producer Anand Pandit, who is also the founder of the real estate firm Shri Lotus Developers and Realty, recently shared details about the project, revealing that a few floors are being added to the rear portion of the iconic property.

Speaking about his real estate business on Ravi Kewalramani's podcast, as reported by The Indian Express, Anand Pandit said, "I got very good clients in that project. Hrithik Roshan bought two floors, Rakesh Roshan bought three, and Ajay Devgn also bought a floor. It became an iconic project at that time."
He added, "Our client base is almost entirely made up of celebrities. Eighty to 90 per cent of Bollywood is with Lotus."
Pandit also revealed that he is currently working on not one, but two of Shah Rukh Khan's properties.
Sharing renovation details of the Rs 300-crore Mannat, Pandit said, "We're adding a few floors to the back portion of Mannat."
Recalling another project, he said, "When we were building it, I had no idea. Although Shah Rukh sir did tell me about it once, he didn't mention the name of the building."
Pandit was discussing how he had already been interested in redeveloping another of Shah Rukh's properties, unaware of the emotional connection the actor had with it.
He recalled speaking to Shah Rukh about a redevelopment deal in Carter Road involving Shree Amrit Society. It was then that Shah Rukh revealed that, after relocating from Delhi, the first apartment he purchased was in that society.
An excited Shah Rukh reportedly told Pandit, "I should call up the chairperson of the society and tell them to give the property only to Lotus."
"He was very excited about it. My excitement increased a little because of Shah Rukh sir's apartment. But I loved that place because the size and location of the project are so good," added the real estate developer and producer.
In April 2025, Shah Rukh Khan and his family temporarily relocated from Mannat to a luxury apartment, Puja Casa, in Pali Hill, Bandra, just before the extensive renovation work began.
Over the years, Mannat has become much more than a six-storey mansion; it is synonymous with Shah Rukh Khan's ever-expanding stardom. Whether it is Eid or the actor's birthday, thousands flock to Bandstand to express their love and admiration for him against the towering backdrop of Mannat, whose aura remains undiminished.
