- This is a huge insult to the nation.
- America doing 'dadagiri' (being a bully)
- We shouldn't be afraid of them. They insult our ministers like Praful Patel
- America should be blacklisted. They are afraid of Arab countries but keep insulting India.
- Give a strong warning to America
- Strip their people naked too. Make them apologize.

- Two Italian people were allowed by India to go to Italy and vote
- Here, the child cannot be cremated because his father is in jailed
- Small countries like Togo are playing up, let alone larger countries like US

- Thank select committee for keeping people's views in mind and strengthening the bill accordingly
- Other than those from the Samajwadi Party, I salute all MPs in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha for giving us this anti-corruption law
- Lokpal Bill was lying in the Rajya Sabha for one year. Congress and BJP initiated movement and everyone supported the Bill

- The Lokpal bill is not the only thing needed to fight corruption in this country
- It is our responsibility to complete our unfinished fight against corruption. 15th Lok Sabha should pass the 6 bills that are pending
- Can we not extend this session to pass the 6 pending bills?

- Congress allies holding up discussion on Lokpal Bill
- It will be a historic if we pass the Lokpal Bill today
- The bill which the government has tabled has so many flaws that it has not lived up to our expectations
- We did not want a bill that demolishes the existing system - we want an effective bill that is able to fight corruption
- People are lining up to take credit, but there is an old man who keeps fasting for the bill and appeals to our collective conscience. And then the people of this country deserve credit
- Only Anna & people of India deserve credit for Lokpal Bill
- Even after interruptions it will be a historic session if we manage to pass the Lokpal Bill

- This isn't the first instance- our own President Abdul Kalam, MP George Fernandes were also mistreated. This is routine for America.
- This is a violation of Vienna Convention, but then when has US ever followed conventions?
- They violated norms by bombing Iraq at the excuse of finding WMDs
- America is keeping an eye on all our dealings and we don't say anything
- This has dared America to disgrace our diplomats
- America should apologise to the country.
