Bareilly:

The body of a 28-year-old man was found hanging under suspicious circumstances at his rented house in the CB Ganj police station area here on Sunday, about a month after his love marriage, police said.

The man was identified as Faizan, a resident of Navadiya village, who worked as a ward boy at a private hospital.

Police said Faizan had married Jasmine, 22, and the couple had been living separately from their families in a rented house.

Faizan went to sleep after dinner on Saturday night. Despite sleeping in the same room, police, citing Jasmine's account, said she found him hanging from the ceiling fan with a dupatta only on Sunday morning when she woke up.
