COVID-19 LIVE: India recorded 19 Covid-related deaths on Wednesday.
India on Thursday reported 6,422 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 4,45,16,479.
The country also reported 19 new Covid related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death tally to 5,28,250.
India's active caseload currently stands at 46,389 which accounts for 1.4 per cent of the total cases.
The recovery rate currently is at 98.7 per cent. As many as 5,748 recoveries were made in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 4,39,41,840.

COVID-19: Delhi Records 116 Fresh Cases, 3 DeathsDelhi recorded 116 fresh COVID-19 cases with a positivity rate of 0.97 per cent and three more fatalities today, according to the data shared by the city health department.
With the new cases, Delhi's COVID-19 tally climbed to 20,02,145, while the death toll rose to 26,497, according to the bulletin.
According to the latest bulletin, the number of active Covid cases in Delhi stands at 546. A total of 382 patients are in home isolation, the bulletin said, adding that of the 9,286 beds reserved for Covid patients in various city hospitals, 61 are occupied.
There are 79 Covid containment zones in Delhi.
Madhya Pradesh Records 29 COVID-19 Cases, 1 DeathMadhya Pradesh today reported 29 new COVID-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 10,53,986, while one more patient succumbed to the infection in the state, a health department official said.
The positivity rate, or confirmed cases per 100 tests, stood at 0.5 per cent, he said.

114 New COVID-19 Cases In Telangana, No Deaths Reported
Telangana today recorded 114 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 8,36,411 so far. Hyderabad district reported the highest number of cases with 48.
A Health Department bulletin said 130 people recuperated from the infection, raising the cumulative number of recoveries to 8,31,508 till date.
The recovery rate stood at 99.41 per cent.

The active cases comprise 2.04 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate increased to 98.71 per cent, the ministry said.
Thane Records 126 Covid Cases, No Deaths
As many as 126 new coronavirus infections were detected in Maharashtra's Thane district in the last 24 hours, a health official said on Thursday morning. This took the tally of cases in the district to 7,44,127. There are now 999 active cases in the district.
