Yash could be looking at a new Telugu project after his current lineup of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups and Ramayana. The actor may soon collaborate with Telugu producer Dil Raju, who has now hinted that a film with the Rocking Star is being planned.
The update came during the Hyderabad pre-release event of Toxic, where Dil Raju was asked if he would produce a Telugu film featuring Yash. The producer responded positively, making it clear that the idea of bringing the Kannada star into a Telugu production is very much on the table. However, fans may have to wait before the project takes shape.
According to Dil Raju, Yash's packed schedule is the main reason the collaboration does not have a fixed timeline yet. The actor already has major projects lined up, so the producer will have to wait for the right window before taking the film forward. The possibility, however, is certainly there.
For now, Yash is focused on Toxic, which is set to arrive in theatres on August 26. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The film has been in the making for some time and has gone through multiple release date changes before finally locking in its August date.
Following Toxic, Yash will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. The actor plays Ravana in the two-part epic, with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Sunny Deol will play Hanuman. The first part is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026, while the second instalment is expected in 2027.
Yash is also serving as a producer on Ramayana, adding another responsibility to his already busy slate. His role as Ravana has also been one of the most talked-about aspects of the project.
