Actor Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan are the new parents in town. The couple has welcomed twin baby girls and shared the news with their fans on social media.

The twins were born on August 23, 2026.
Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Aditya posted a card featuring illustrations of the newborns and expressed his happiness at becoming a father.
“My sunshines are here to brighten our lives. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira Mahi #TeamGirl.”
Background
The arrival of their daughters comes months after Anushka and Aditya announced that they were expecting their first children.
The couple had shared a series of maternity photographs while announcing the pregnancy.
Anushka had previously spoken about her experience with IVF on the couple's YouTube channel. She opened up about the physical challenges involved in the process and credited Aditya for supporting her throughout the treatment.
She recalled, “I have taken around 150 injections, minimum. Initially, Adi(tya Seal) used to administer them. I used to get very scared. They were thick and oil-based. When he used to put the needle in, I used to cry in pain. I used to see him walking to me with the injection, and I was like, ‘I just cannot deal with this anymore. I don't know how I'm going to do this."
Anushka also revealed that she and Aditya had been considering starting a family since 2023. According to her, it was her sister Akansha Ranjan who encouraged her to consult a doctor and understand the process better.
Reflecting on what she had learnt about conception, Anushka said, “You know, from childhood we are taught that if you get intimate with someone, you'll get pregnant. And it's not true. It's really not true.”
She further spoke about the chances of conceiving naturally and shared, “Your chances are only 15% every cycle to have a baby. I was shocked that we are never given this information.”
Anushka and Aditya first met on June 26, 2017, at an event organised by Anushka's NGO, Beti. Their initial meeting eventually developed into a relationship. After dating for several years, the couple got married in Mumbai in November 2021.
