Actress Deepika Padukone let slip very few details about her role before flying to Toronto last week to begin filming her Hollywood debut xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Luckily, social media has ensured that our knowledge of her character in the film has gone from zero to 10 in a matter of days. Here's what we know so far - Deepika is named Serena in the film and, as per a tweet from co-star Tony Jaa, she is a very major character.
Tony Jaa, a Thai martial arts expert known for his work in films like Furious 7 and Skin Trade, tweeted a picture of himself and Deepika goofing around and posing for a picture.
Tony Jaa introduced himself as 'Talon' in a video which features him with Vin Diesel, 48, who stars as the eponymous Xander Cage:

In an interview to NDTV earlier, Deepika said: "I am moving out of my comfort zone, working with some very new people in a new set up. I want to keep challenging myself and this was the time to explore something more now."
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, which also stars Nina Dobrev, Samuel L Jackson and Jet Li, is expected to release in 2017.
