The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Delhi has started a new campaign called 'My DU, My Manifesto' ahead of the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections.

Through the campaign, ABVP is asking students to share the problems they face, their expectations and the changes they want to see at Delhi University. The organisation said these suggestions will be considered while preparing its student manifesto.

The DUSU elections are scheduled for September 18, while the counting of votes will be held on September 19.

How can students share their views?

Students can send their suggestions through a QR code launched as part of the campaign. ABVP volunteers will also visit different Delhi University colleges to speak to students and collect their views.

ABVP said it wants the manifesto to focus on the actual concerns of students rather than being prepared only by student organisations.

Sarthak Sharma, ABVP Delhi state secretary, said the campaign is aimed at reaching students across the university and understanding the issues they consider important.

Suggestions to be included in manifesto

The organisation said it will review the feedback received from students and use it to prepare practical proposals for its upcoming manifesto.

ABVP said the manifesto will reflect the priorities and expectations of Delhi University students.

The campaign comes ahead of the DUSU elections, which are expected to see participation from several student organisations.
