CUET 2026: Registrations Begin In April First Week, DoE Releases Calendar

The Directorate of Education (DoE) released the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026-27 academic calendar. The registration is set to commence from the first week of April.

According to the DoE, the calendar was prepared considering holidays as well as existing rules for smooth functioning of the schools. It also outlines schedules for major competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CA, and CLAT, with registrations beginning in July, as well as scholarship exams such as the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship and the Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha, which are set to take place in August.

Academic Session Timeline

• New academic session begins on April 1
• Admissions for Classes 6 to 9 (non-plan category) will be conducted in 3 online cycles (April-July)
• First cycle: April 1 - April 7

Admissions Schedule

• Class 11 admissions: Start after declaration of Class 10 results
• Classes 10 & 12 (non-plan):
• Common admission test: April 25
• Result declaration: April 28

School Holidays

• Summer Vacation: May 11 - June 30
• Autumn Break: October 17 - October 19
• Winter Holidays: January 1 - January 15, 2027

Examination Schedule

• Mid-Term Exams (Classes 3-7):
• September 15 - October 13
• Annual Exams:
• Classes 3-9 & 11: February 15 - March 23, 2027

Result Declaration

• Annual exam results to be announced by end of March 2027
