Claude Campus Ambassadors Programme: Claude, the next-generation AI assistant developed by Anthropic, has invited applications for its Campus Ambassadors Programme, offering students an opportunity to work with the company and promote AI learning on their campuses. The programme is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. Selected ambassadors will receive a cash stipend of USD 3,600 (approximately Rs 3.39 lakh), subject to the programme's terms and conditions.

The application window opened on September 1. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by September 12. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The programme begins this month and will run until June 2027.
Students from around the world are eligible to apply. Claude said the graduate and PhD tracks may initially be limited to a smaller group of institutions as part of a pilot phase. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have work authorisation in the country where they are studying.
The Tracks
Undergraduate students: Undergraduate students can apply to lead a Claude Builder Club, where they will organise workshops, hackathons, and demo nights while sharing resources such as API credits with members. They may also have opportunities to attend events featuring Anthropic speakers.
Graduate students: Graduate students pursuing STEM or humanities programmes can lead Claude Campus Conversations, which will focus on AI's impact on education and society. Ambassadors will organise discussions, events, and provide students with a platform to showcase projects built using Claude. They will also have opportunities to visit Anthropic's office and connect with fellow ambassadors.
PhD students and postdoctoral researchers: PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who use AI in their research can lead Claude for Science workshops, helping build communities of AI-focused researchers on campus. The track includes opportunities to participate in speaker events with Anthropic's mathematics and science teams and engage directly with Anthropic scientists.
The programme will give students access to AI workshops conducted by the Anthropic team, opportunities to develop AI skills, and a platform to connect with students and researchers from around the world. Ambassadors will also be able to share feedback on Claude's features, which the company said could help inform future product development.
