CBSE 10th result, CBSE 12th result 2017: Know Where To Check Marks
New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), one of the apex educational boards in the country, will be announcing the results for class 10th and 12th anytime soon. The exact date has not been decided, and no confirmation in this regard has been given by the Board, still students should be aware as in where to check the result. Though the Board has not yet decided for the declaration date, however in response to such query, it has stated it will intimate students about the date one day prior to the declaration.

The result related updates will be available at the official portal of the Board at cbse.nic.in.

As another option, students can go to bing.com for the CBSE result.

Though varying result related dates can be seen regarding the CBSE results, students should rely on the official website only. Results will be available at the official exam result portal cbseresults.nic.in. Alternatively students can also check it at results.nic.in or results.gov.in.

The Board will be announcing the result with the help of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Though every attempt will be taken by the Board to ensure that students get to see their performance in time; however large number of logins at a time may slow down the website for a while. Students and parents are advised not to panic in such cases and retry a bit later.

Candidates should have their roll number, date of birth and name (as mentioned in the board admit card) for accessing the result. These are the usual login credentials for retrieving exam results.

Apart from the links mentioned above, CBSE board results are also hosted by third party result portals like indiaresults.com.

Immediately after downloading the result, candidates can keep a copy of it for reference purpose only till official documents are issued by the Board. 'The results published on net are for immediate information to the examinees,' says the NIC website.

Students are also suggested to go through the entries made in the result form. Issues related to name or roll number should be immediately reported to the Board.

Amidst the excitement, anxiety has crept in because of the 'no moderation policy' adopted by CBSE. No mark moderation policy has kept everyone waiting eagerly to see how 'badly' their marks have been affected. Moreover with the release of the CBSE results, the fate of all those students will be decided who are yet to apply for undergraduate courses; cut offs being the main deciding factor.

In a recent PTI report, 'The Delhi High Court termed the CBSE's decision to scrap its 'moderation policy' as "unfair and irresponsible". Under which grace marks are given to students in exams for difficult questions and asked why it cannot be implemented from next year.'
