The electric two-wheeler market in India reported sales of 1,11,680 units in February 2026. This is an increase of 46 per cent compared to 76,720 units sold during the same period in the previous year. With this, the electric two-wheeler market has seen a big shift in the top 5 rankings of manufacturers with the highest sales. While TVS Motor took the top spot, Ola Electric is out of the list and now stands at the sixth position in terms of sales. Here's a list of the best-sellers in the country.
TVS Motor
TVS Motor maintained its position with the sales of 31,600 units in February 2026. This translates to a growth of 67 percent compared to 18,955 units sold during the same period in 2025. This growth can be credited to electric scooters like TVS iQube and the relatively new Orbiter. The iQube currently starts at Rs 94,999, while Orbiter is sold at Rs 99,900.

Bajaj Auto
Bajaj Auto registered sales of 25,323 units in the month, resulting in a year-on-year growth of 17 percent compared to sales of 21,751 units last year. The sales come from Chetak electric scooters. The automaker has recently expanded the Chetak lineup with the launch of the Chetak C2501.

Ather Energy
Ather Energy holds the third rank with the sales of 20,581 units in February 2026. This reflects a year-on-year growth of 72 percent compared to the sales of 11,978 units in February 2025. The current lineup of the brand includes models like the Rizta and relatively sporty electric scooters of the 450 series.
Hero MotoCorp
Vida, the electric vehicle manufacturing arm of India's largest two-wheeler maker, sold 12,512 units in February 2026. This reflects a remarkable growth of 364 per cent for the automaker compared to 2,969 units sold by February 2025.
Greaves Electric Mobility
In February 2026, Greaves Electric Mobility made an unexpected leap into fifth place for the first time, surpassing Ola Electric. The firm, known for its Ampere e-scooters, achieved deliveries of 4,725 units, marking a 27 per cent year-over-year increase from 3,730 units, thereby establishing a lead of 757 units over Ola Electric.
Ola Electric
Ola Electric ended up at the sixth position in February 2026 with sales of 3,968 units. This is a significant drop in sales for the manufacturer, considering the sales of 7,516 units in January 2026.
