Tesla has opened its first charging station in Gurugram at DLF Horizon Center, following the recent launch of its Tesla Center in the city. This development adds to Tesla's growing charging infrastructure in India, now totaling three stations with 12 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers.​
The new site in the Surface Parking Area at Horizon Center features four V4 Superchargers with a peak speed of 250 kW and three Destination Chargers at 11 kW. These provide charging flexibility for Tesla owners. A Model Y can gain up to 275 km of range in 15 minutes, sufficient for travel from Gurugram to Jaipur's Hawa Mahal.​

The station offers a "Plug In, Charge and Go" experience with a claimed 99.95% uptime. Owners of Tesla electric vehicles can manage charging via the Tesla app, including navigation, vehicle preheating, stall availability checks, progress monitoring, notifications, and payments.​

Currently, the starting price of the Tesla Model Y is Rs 59.89 Lakh (ex-showroom), while the Long Range version is priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Model Y is offered in a Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) setup. It comes with a single electric motor that produces 299 hp and 420 Nm of torque. The standard range model has a 60.5 kWh battery pack, which is reported to provide a range of 500 km on a single charge. This vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds. Its top speed is 201 kmph.

The Long Range RWD variant is equipped with a larger 75 kWh battery pack that boasts a range of 622 km. In this variant, the electric motor generates 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It is capable of reaching 100 kmph from a standstill in only 5.6 seconds. The maximum speed remains unchanged at 201 kmph.
