Studds Accessories Ltd. has launched the new Studds Helios Effect in India. The new helmet is the latest addition to the Helios range and brings a fresh design update along with several comfort and safety features. Prices for the Studds Helios Effect start at Rs 3,445 (inclusive of taxes).
The Studds Helios Effect joins the existing Helios lineup, which already includes the Unicolor, D1 Asphalt, D2 Circuit and Superman Edition variants. According to the company, the Helios helmet was first developed for Southeast Asian markets and was initially launched in the Philippines before expanding to countries like Colombia and Mexico. Later, Studds introduced the helmet in India as well.
The biggest highlight of the new Studds Helios Effect is its aggressive graphic design. The helmet gets sharp polygonal patterns and sporty styling inspired by performance motorcycles and sports cars. Studds says the new graphics are designed to improve the helmet's road presence while maintaining a premium look.
The helmet is available in six colour options including Black & Chameleon Blue, Black Grey & Red, Black White & Red, Black & Red with Metallic Foil, Black & Grey, and Black Blue & White. Buyers can choose between gloss and matte finishes.

The Studds Helios Effect comes with a high-impact ABS shell along with an aerodynamic rear spoiler for better stability at higher speeds. The helmet weighs around 1,400 grams, making it suitable for daily rides as well as longer journeys. It gets a silicone-coated dual visor setup with a clear outer visor and an inner smoked sun visor. Studds has also equipped the helmet with its AntiFog100 technology, which is claimed to provide fog-free visibility for up to 100 seconds. Other features include a quick-release visor system, dynamic ventilation setup, removable and washable liners, speaker pockets, eyeglass-friendly padding and reflective inserts for better visibility during night rides.

The helmet is certified under both ISI and DOT safety standards. The Studds Helios Effect is available in Medium, Large and Extra-Large sizes through offline retail stores and Studds exclusive outlets, while online availability is expected soon.
