Simple Energy seems to be planning on expanding its model lineup in the Indian market with the introduction of a new product. Before any official announcement, the electric vehicle manufacturer filed a design patent for a new electric scooter. This image gives a glimpse of what the upcoming product will be like in terms of appearance.
Diving into the details, this model seems to have a completely different design language compared to the other models of the brand. It seems to be a big departure from the sporty design with curved body panels having a minimalistic appeal. The headlamp is embedded in the front apron with LED DRLs. It also seems to have integrated turn indicators.

Meanwhile, the rear end of the scooter seems to have been designed with clean lines. It also gets a flat seat, which seems to be spacious at first glance. To help the pillion be comfortable, the scooter has a back support as well. All of these design elements hint that the brand is aiming to improve its presence in a different market compared to Simple One.
Expectations are, the new electric scooter will be a family-oriented product and will likely compete against models like Ather Rizta and TVS iQube on sale in the country. However, the brand has not yet disclosed the specifications of the model. Chances are, it will be built on a new platform to accommodate the new design. While the details of the launch are not available, we can expect it to be in the market in 2026.
