Renault has now revived its nameplate with the launch of the new Duster. The new Renault Duster has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). With its arrival, the Duster now competes with the Tata Sierra. The two iconic nameplates are now in India. The Renault Duster offers three powertrain options, including a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, delivering 100 bhp and 160 Nm, a 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine that pushes out a peak power and torque output of 160 bhp and 280 Nm and the top of the line variants get a 1.8-liter four-cylinder direct-injection petrol engine, paired with two electric motors, delivering 160 bhp and 172 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the Tata Sierra SUV also gets three powertrain options- a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine churning out 106 hp and 145 Nm, a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, promising a peak power and torque output of 160 hp and 255 Nm.
