Norton Motorcycles, under the umbrella of TVS Motor, announced its return to the world with the introduction of a fleet of four products. While the spotlight was focused on the Manx and Manx R, featuring a 1200 cc V4 engine, the brand also had a pair of middle-weight adventure motorcycles, the Atlas and Atlas GT. Among these, the Manx twins will be listed as flagship products of the brand, and the Atlas twins will likely aim for a wider consumer base, especially in India.

Norton has kept most details about the Atlas motorcycles under wraps, but we now know that the Atlas twins will be launched in three trim levels. This information comes from Chief Technical Officer Brian Gillen, as reported by MotorcycleNews. The rest of the details, regarding launch and the manufacturing of the machine, are still a secret and will be revealed in the future.

All we know so far is that the adventure motorcycles will have a "widest spread of torque in their category", based on MCN's report. The road-biased Atlast GT will be shod in 17-inch Michelin Road 5 tyres, while the Atlas will get Bridgestone AX41 dual-purpose tyres and a 19-inch front wheel. The report further claimed that the variants will have the same electronic suite and will differ in wheel size, suspension set-up, and engine-management system.

Along with giving the motorcycles a competitive price, the brand will load them with features. The motorcycle will come packed with elements like an 8-inch touchscreen TFT, lean-sensitive rider aids, backlit controls, and projector LED lighting. There will also be added accessories like engine guards, handguards, and three-piece luggage.
