The next-generation Hyundai Venue is undergoing tests before its launch in the Indian market. The test mule of the SUV has been spotted on multiple occasions. Based on the latest update, the test unit was recently involved in a crash on a public road. The vehicle found itself in a crash with the Kia Carens MPV. The video of the incident has been shared on social media and is now gaining traction among the audience.
The video has been shared by soryaview622 on YouTube. The footage shows the camouflaged test unit of the upcoming SUV with some damage to its front end, likely from a collision. It appears that the SUV may have impacted a concrete barrier. If you observe closely, you can identify the characteristic shape of the current Venue.

Despite the camouflage, the new alloy wheel design is visible, and the side profile seems recognizable. Moreover, the roof rails and side door panels seem to resemble those of the existing Venue.
The circumstances surrounding this accident remain unclear, as well as the extent of the damage to the SUV. Interestingly, a Kia Carens was also involved in this incident. Fortunately, the damage appears to be minimal on both vehicles. Given that it was nighttime, the risk of an accident due to reduced visibility was heightened.
Now, coming to the details of the Hyundai Venue, the brand has not yet specified the launch date of the SUV. If rumours are to be trusted, the vehicle will be launched around the upcoming festive season. Once launched, the SUV will be pitted against rivals like Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, and others in the same segment. To hold its ground, it is expected to come with upgrades in terms of design, interior, and features.
