Maruti Suzuki Victoris was launched in the Indian market in September 2025. Sold through the Arena outlets, the SUV became the representative of the automaker in the mid-size SUV segment. Over months of being on sale, the model has gained decent popularity among consumers and has earned itself a rank among the best-selling models in January 2026. Outselling most of its rivals, the SUV registered a dispatch of 15,420 units in the month.
Sold at a starting price of Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom), Maruti Suzuki Victoris competes against models like Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. It outsold all of these aforementioned models in the first month of CY26, except the Hyundai Creta.

The Hyundai Creta has consistently proved itself by staying among the best-selling models. Sold at a starting price of 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV registered a dispatch of 17,921 units, becoming the fourth best-selling model in the country. It followed models like Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and Tata Nexon on the list.

Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta is loaded with features and provides various engine choices, including a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. The transmission options available for this model consist of a six-speed manual, a seven-speed DCT, and a six-speed iVT.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris
The Victoris offering three variants: a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol, a 1.5-litre strong hybrid, and a 1.5-litre petrol-CNG. The available gearbox options include a 5-speed manual for the CNG, an e-CVT for the strong hybrid, and either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic for the mild hybrid. The top-end mild-hybrid automatic models also feature an all-wheel-drive system.
Regarding fuel efficiency, the strong hybrid Victoris stands out as the most economical, achieving 28.56kpl (ARAI). The Victoris CNG offers a return of 27.02km/kg, while the mild-hybrid variants deliver 21.18kpl (MT), 21.06kpl (AT), and 19.07kpl (AT AWD).
