Maruti Suzuki recently launched its first electric SUV, e Vitara, in the Indian market. Launched at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service), the SUV is sold at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with a battery. At this price, it undercuts lots of its rivals, making it an interesting choice in the market. While the deliveries of the electric SUV have commenced, production constraints have limited the supply.
As per the dealerships of the brand, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara has a waiting period of up to 2 months across the range. It is worth noting that the e Vitara is offered in three trim levels: Delta, Zeta, and Alpha with two battery choices. Specifically, the car gets the option of a 49 kWh and a larger 61 kWh battery pack.
