Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported total auto sales of 97,177 vehicles in February 2026, reflecting an 18% year-on-year increase, including exports. The company's Utility Vehicles segment continued to be the main growth driver, with domestic SUV sales reaching 60,018 units, marking a 19% rise compared to the same month last year.
Including exports, overall SUV sales stood at 60,685 units for February. Commenting on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., highlighted that the strong demand across the SUV portfolio contributed to the 19% growth in domestic sales, while total vehicle sales of 97,177 units represented an 18% increase year-on-year.
On a cumulative basis up to February, Mahindra's domestic utility vehicle sales reached 600,004 units, showing a 19% growth compared to 503,439 units in the same period last year. Passenger vehicle sales for the month were entirely driven by Utility Vehicles, with no volumes recorded under the Cars and Vans category.

In the domestic commercial vehicle space, Mahindra reported sales of 24,585 units, which is a 10% increase year-on-year. Within this category, the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment under 2 tonnes recorded 3,169 units, reflecting a 4% decline compared to last year. Meanwhile, the 2-3.5 tonne LCV segment posted 21,416 units, registering a 12% growth.
The three-wheeler segment, which includes electric models, stood out with sales of 9,190 units, recording a sharp 44% growth. Year-to-date three-wheeler volumes reached 101,202 units, up 30% compared to the same period last year.

Exports for February 2026 stood at 3,384 units, marking an 11% increase. On a year-to-date basis, exports rose 21% to 37,022 units. Mahindra clarified that the total vehicle sales figure of 97,177 units includes SUVs, LCVs under 3.5 tonnes, three-wheelers, and export volumes.
