Kia Carens Clavis HTE (EX) Launched; New Base Variant Of MPV?

Kia India has launched the HTE(EX) trim for the Carens Clavis MPV, starting at Rs 12,54,900 (ex-showroom).

Kia India has launched a new HTE(EX) trim for its Carens Clavis (ICE) lineup. Competitively priced at Rs 12,54,900 (ex-showroom) for G1.5 petrol, Rs 13,41,900 (ex-showroom) for G1.5 turbo-petrol, and Rs 14,52,900 (ex-showroom) for D1.5 diesel, the new trim delivers strong value across the powertrains. The new trim introduction further reinforces Kia's focus on offering feature-packed variants without compromising on affordability. 

Developed in response to extensive customer feedback and evolving market preferences, the newly introduced variant is available across all ICE powertrains, including G1.5 petrol, G1.5 turbo-petrol, and D1.5 diesel, and is offered exclusively in a 7-seater configuration. The HTE (EX) also marks the first-time introduction of a sunroof in the G1.5 petrol powertrain of Carens Clavis.

Positioned above the existing HTE(O), the HTE(EX) trim enhances the overall ownership experience by offering a suite of premium comfort and convenience features that customers have consistently sought in this segment. These additions include a sky light electric sunroof-now available for the first time in the G1.5 powertrain of Carens Clavis-which adds to the sense of openness in the cabin, fully automatic temperature control (FATC) for superior climate comfort, LED DRLs and position lamps that enhance the vehicle's exterior appeal, LED cabin lamps for improved interior illumination, and an auto up/down driver-side power window for added ease and safety. With these enhancements, Kia aims to make premium features more accessible to a wider customer base.

With the addition of the HTE(EX) trim, Kia India continues to expand and refine the Carens Clavis (ICE) lineup, reinforcing its promise of delivering well-rounded products that combine design, technology and practicality, while staying closely aligned with customer expectations and market demand.
