Hyundai, the South Korean brand operating in India, has announced that it will be unveiling a new product on October 24. However, the brand refrained from confirming the model that is to be revealed. But the new announcement fuels speculation of the launch of the Venue facelift, which has been on the test bed for quite some time now. The SUV has been spied testing on multiple occasions, with a test mule revealing quite a few details. Here we take a look at what we know so far.

Regarding its look, the updated Hyundai Venue appears to be influenced by its sibling models. The brand has adopted a design style similar to its global lineup, mirroring what we observed in the Creta and Alcazar. This similarity is evident through features like L-shaped LED daylight running lights (DRLs) and rectangular headlights equipped with dual-chamber LED reflectors.

The back of the vehicle has also changed, showcasing a newly designed tail lamp that resembles the front design. Along with this, the bumpers and other parts of the body are also expected to see some modifications. Even with this, the SUV keeps its overall shape. Additionally, new alloy wheels will be part of these updates.

Inside the Venue, one can expect an upgraded dashboard, a reimagined center console, fresh seat upholstery, and improved ambient lighting options. To enhance comfort, ventilated seats for the front passengers might be included in the list of features.

Familiar elements from the existing Venue, such as connected Bluelink capabilities, voice control, and compatibility with Alexa, will be carried forward. Prioritizing safety will continue to be a significant focus, underscored by features like six airbags, electronic stability control, hill assist, and Level-1 ADAS.

When it comes to performance, the Venue will retain its current engine line-up, which consists of a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel engine. The new-generation Venue is set to compete with rivals such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Skoda Kylaq.
