Hyundai To Launch 26 New Models In India By FY30

Hyundai Motor India has also confirmed the launch of Genesis cars in the Indian market by 2027.

Hyundai Motor India Limited has revealed its plans for the Indian market at the launch event of the new generation Venue. Specifically, the South Korean automaker has announced that it will launch 26 new models in the country by FY30. The newly launched Venue is the first in this series and will be followed by more products in the future. With this, the automaker aims to increase its market share while aiming for faster growth in the country.

Previously, the Korean brand announced its plan to launch seven new models in India starting from the next financial year and continuing through FY 2030. There will also be six complete model redesigns. Furthermore, the company will introduce seven updated versions and six new variations of existing models during this timeframe.

Regarding powertrains, the range will feature 13 combustion engine models and six CNG variants, in addition to five dedicated electric vehicles and eight hybrids. The first locally produced electric vehicle is expected to be released in 2027, while the brand will also expand into new segments with the launch of a multi-purpose vehicle and an SUV focused on off-road capabilities. Hyundai's goal is to secure over 15% of the domestic market share and achieve up to 30% of export contribution by 2030.

The automaker has also revealed the Hyundai Venue will be produced exclusively in India and will be the first model to be produced at the brand's Pune plant. It will be exported to 30 countries joining the Alcazar as one of the major exports of the automaker.
