Honda has announced a significant update to its global motorcycle brand identity, unveiling three distinct emblems to clearly separate its electric and internal-combustion model lines. The brand said the new approach is designed to bring visual clarity to its growing portfolio and align its branding with evolving product strategies.
All future Honda electric motorcycles will adopt a new emblem featuring a minimalist "Honda" wordmark. The design, first seen on the Honda WN7, reflects a simplified aesthetic that matches the brand's shift toward electric mobility. Honda will also extend this new emblem to its EV-focused showrooms, promotional materials, and charging infrastructure to maintain consistency across its electric business.

For internal-combustion motorcycles, Honda will now use two different versions of its iconic Wing logo. Flagship motorcycles, including models like the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, Rebel 1100, and Gold Wing, will feature a silver wing over a black background. This new emblem made its first public appearance on the V3R 900 prototype at EICMA 2025 and will be rolled out across all flagship models starting in 2026.
The rest of Honda's ICE lineup, covering mid-tier and commuter motorcycles, will continue to use the familiar silver wing over a red background with the "Honda" script underneath. This emblem, one of the brand's most recognizable design elements, will remain central to the mass-market segment. With this new emblem strategy, Honda aims to create a clear visual distinction between its electric and combustion-powered motorcycles while reinforcing the identity of its premium models.
