Looking ahead, Honda Cars India has begun pan-India testing of its upcoming electric SUV ahead of its planned global introduction in FY2026-27. The prototype, known globally as the Honda 0 Alpha, was first showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 and will now be assessed across Indian driving and climate conditions.

The upcoming electric SUV will be manufactured at Honda's Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, with the project involving an investment of around Rs 1,200 crore. The model is expected to launch in India and Japan as part of its global rollout in FY2026-27.
